Welcome to Dovedale Manor, Tissington, a quintessentially English former public house converted into luxury group holiday accommodation located in a picturesque setting within the Peak District National Park.
With a maximum capacity of 38 guests but also welcoming to smaller groups Dovedale Manor is ideal for a gathering in The Peak District. There are 13 tastefully designed en-suite bedrooms. A huge living/kitchen area provides more than enough space for guests to relax after a long day of enjoying the Peak District, and there is plenty of dining space for enjoyable meals together.

Take your pick of one of the 7 super comfy sofas and sit back and relax in The Manors huge living room. Look up and see the character of the building with the historic timber beams. Two Air conditioning units in the ceiling and underfloor heating are just what you need on a cold winters day to provide ample heating for alternatively blast out the cold air on a hot summer day. Talking of a summer day, swing open the bi fold doors in the living room and let nature in, just watch out for the pheasants coming the other way!
Kitchen & Dining
Cooking for the group? Dovedale Manors stunning modern kitchen has been specifically designed to suit cooking for large groups, you will find 8 hobs and 2 large ovens, 2 microwave ovens can be at head hight in the wall units, and for storing food and drinks there are 3 full sixed fridges and a freezer in the kitchen. More than enough pots pans and culinary equipment are provided in the kitchen, if you require a certain utensil please let us know beforehand.
In terms of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and cutlery etc you will find this all stored in the unit under the oak beam by the entrance, you will find vast amounts of all of these. There are 2 dishwashers provided for washing up in readiness for the next day!
The spacious dining area creates a perfect space for large group dining. We offer flexible table layouts so that you can seat up to 40 guests in various combinations.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Dovedale Manor has 13 bedrooms that all have private bathrooms, offering a combination of showers and/or baths. All bedrooms have been carefully designed out and furnished with cosy beds, with fresh linen and towels.
Downstairs you will find 8 bedrooms with bedroom 8 being specifically designed featuring a disability bathroom. Upstairs are the remaining 5 bedrooms.
Garden & Outdoor Space
The property sits on a plot amounting to more than five private acres of land. Guests have access to their own private green field for space and privacy to enjoy clean Peak District air whilst residing at the accommodation.
The Manor has an attached stone built deck with outdoor dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ provided, there is a gated children’s play area.
Parking
Free parking is available to all guests on site during their stay at Dovedale Manor.
The car park is assessable through the timber gates via Buxton Road, the gates are coded, the access code will be given to the lead booker prior to move in.

Location
This luxury group holiday accommodation is located in a stunning setting within the Peak District National Park. The closest village is Tissington which is about a 15 minute walk away, the picturesque village is home to Tissington Hall a spectacular Jacobean Hall, the hall has a tearoom that serves breakfast and lunch. The village also has a butcher and a gorgeous little English Sweet Shop.
Ashbourne is the nearest large town about a 10 minute drive away, here you will find an abundance of pubs, restaurants and shops including two supermarkets.
Other recommended towns and villages very close by are; Ilam, Milldale, Alstonefield and Parwich
Dovedale National Park, one the Seven Natural Wonders of the UK is within walking distance where you can have a day relaxing by the river and crossing The Stepping Stones or hiking Thorp Cloud mountain.
20 minutes away is Carsington Water, a reservoir open to the public with so many activities to do such as walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and water sports, including kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding.
